How it works

Bilingual invoicing, done properly

Not a translated layer bolted onto an English product.

1

Bill in your language

Switch your account, and every invoice, template, and email between English and French — pick per client if you need to.

2

Apply GST and QST together

Choose the Québec formula and both taxes calculate correctly, each shown on its own line the way a compliant invoice should read.

3

Keep a defensible record

The applied tax breakdown is locked to the invoice permanently — change the formula later and every invoice you've already sent keeps its original numbers.

Built for how business works in Québec

GST + QST, calculated together

The Québec formula applies both taxes correctly and shows them as separate lines — what your clients need for their own input tax credits.

Fully bilingual

French is a first-class locale throughout InvoiceCast, from the interface to the invoice PDF — not a translated layer bolted on.

Custom tax formulas

For the situations the built-in GST/QST formula doesn't cover — a zero-rated export, an industry-specific rule — build your own on Pro and Business.

Built around what a compliant invoice needs

Sequential invoice numbers, snapshotted sender and recipient details, and a locked tax breakdown on every invoice — the elements Revenu Québec and the CRA expect to see, though exact requirements can vary by situation.

Common questions

Does InvoiceCast calculate GST and QST together?

Yes — choose the Québec formula and both taxes are calculated and shown as separate lines on the invoice, the way a compliant invoice should read.

Can I invoice in French?

Yes, French is a full locale — the interface, invoice templates, and emails you send can all be in French, per client if you need to mix languages.

Is my invoice numbering sequential, as required?

Yes — invoice numbers are assigned automatically in order (INV-0001, INV-0002…) and are never reused or reassigned, even if an invoice is deleted.

Does the tax breakdown stay accurate if a rate changes?

The formula you use is labelled by year, and the breakdown is locked to each invoice when it's created — a future rate change only affects new invoices, never ones you've already sent.

Is this a substitute for my accountant or Revenu Québec's own guidance?

No. InvoiceCast applies the rates and formulas you choose — whether a specific sale is taxable, zero-rated, or exempt is a question for you and a qualified professional.
